Hi friends, and welcome!

This post feels a little surreal to write because, for the first time, I’m officially introducing myself not just as a stay-at-home mom—but as a photographer. If you had told me a year ago that I’d be setting up a website, learning how to edit RAW files, and obsessing over golden hour lighting while my baby naps next to me, I probably would’ve laughed. But here I am—camera in one hand, baby monitor in the other—starting something I’ve dreamed about for a while now.

Why now...

When I became a mom, everything changed (as every parent says). My world slowed down in the most beautiful way. I started noticing the little things more—the way sunlight hits my baby's eyelashes, the tiny hand reaching out, the messy joy in everyday moments.I didn’t want to just take phone photos anymore. I wanted to capture these memories. Really capture them—honestly, beautifully, and intentionally. So I picked up a camera. And I started learning. Watching tutorials during feedings, editing photos during naps, practicing with friends and family. The more I clicked, the more I fell in love—with photography and with this new creative version of myself.

Still Learning...

I’m not perfect—far from it. I’m still figuring out how to get that crisp focus every time, how to pose people naturally, and how to run a business while juggling pacifiers and laundry. This season of life is messy and magical and full of lessons—and I think that’s what makes it the perfect time to start. I have even been so blessed to learn directly from an amazing local photographer to the NEA area... Paula Chavers!

What you can expect...

As I grow, I hope to document more than just faces—I want to tell stories. I want to freeze moments for families, couples, and individuals who want to remember not just how they looked, but how they felt. So whether you're here to book a session, follow along on my journey, or just browse through some heartfelt photos—thank you. Truly. Your support means the world to me, and I’m so excited (and nervous!) to see where this road leads me! Here's to first steps, fresh starts, and lots and lots of photos to come!

With love,

Emily
